Training will commence on the 7 th July 2009, meet at the club 6.30pm.

Training will be held twice a week from 7 th July in preparation for a concerted effort to gain promotion after two seasons of being placed third.

A successful run in last year's national cup which included beating Shelford, who have now been promoted to the national leagues, has convinced the players that they would be able to compete at a higher level. The Camels were eligible to enter this competition after winning the Cornwall Cup in the previous year. The Camels were eventually defeated by Tynedale who finished 4 th in National Two.

A large number of last year's colts will be progressing into adult rugby and the squad will be boosted by the quality of the juniors coming through.

The first trial match will be a home fixture against Weston Super Mare on 22/08/2009 who finished mid table in South West One.

The first league match will be away to Camborne 05/09/2009.

The first home fixture will be against Devonport Services on 12/09/2009.

Although possessing a strong squad any ambitious players would be welcome at the club.
